Parents dig this museum almost as much as their kids, who go ape for the huge dinosaur skeletons, incredible displays, and of course the enormous whale that graces every visitor.
The "Cosmic Collisions" planetarium show is an incredible journey through outer space, narrated by Robert Redford. You'll see how the moon was made, and watch the Milky Way's collision with the Andromeda galaxy.
"Dinosaurs Alive!", narrated by Michael Douglas, follows paleontologists who work for the museum on their search for fossils in the Gobi Desert and New Mexico's Ghost Ranch.
Large-scale models, paintings, and sculptures from around the world give you and the kids an insight into dragons, unicorns and more, in "Mythic Creatures: Dragons, Unicorns & Mermaids."
The largest stibnite on public display, a rare half-ton mineral specimen, is on display here, in "Spectacular Stibnite."
