At this Chelsea comedy club, you can catch hilarious improv troupes every night of the week, for a mere 8 bucks. As a bonus, the 9.30pm show on Sundays and the Midnight show on Fridays are both free. The comedic groups all have funny names like MOTHER: The Soundtrack, New Team Harold, and SPANK. The club also offers classes–like Improv 101: Improv Basics–so you can put that stand-up routine you've been practicing to good use. Bonus: Celebrity comedians, especially SNL vets, have been known to perform at the club; keep your eye out for Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
