Tropical 128

Plastic cucumbers hang from the ceiling at this cash-only bar, where there's plenty of saki, beer, and wine coolers, but no liquor. The music is standard indie-slanted, and the clientele range from local Korean and Japanese kids to hipsters to a few suited-up bankers.

While the front room has the bar and a seating area, the sizable back offers lots of pool tables ($12/hour). Tropical offers a small menu of appetizers including edamame, yakitori, and skewers of grilled chicken and beef.
