La Palapa

The waitstaff at both branches of this Mexican restaurant are attentive and ready to offer suggestions, should you be overwhelmed by the large, mouth-watering menu. We love the roasted pineapple/chile rubbed pork quesadillas, the spicy vegetarian enchilada, and everything on the brunch menu, including the delicious, enticing Huevos Motuleños–a Yucatecan specialty of two eggs on crisp corn tortillas in a sauce of fresh sweet peas, smoked ham and charred tomato with pinto beans, sweet plantains, homemade queso fresco and crema. La Palapa (literally, the palm tree) also has a full bar, so you can enjoy a glass of sangaria...or four.
