It's a good thing this delicious sweet-spot isn't any closer to us or we'd certainly be ten pounds heavier. The tiny 1st Avenue shop wisely gave out free samples the first few days they were open, luring in a number of customers, ourselves included. One bite and we were hooked.
The Japanese crepes come filled with custard, making them far more succulent than the standard version. Our two favorites are the Choco Banana, with banana, chocolate sauce, banana chip, sliced almond, and the Apple Tatin, with apple, caramel sauce, pie, cinnamon powder.
The shop recently added a savory crepes menu as well. We highly recommend the Tuna Salad, with tuna, onion, chili creamy tomato sauce, and the quirky Potato Salad Prosciutto–potato salad, prosciutto, onion, caper.
The crepe-making staff are incredibly dedicated to their work, and you can see the care and time they put into making each and every treat. All the crepes come wrapped in a colored paper cone, so you can eat them on the go.
